News from 2009 . . .
Geoff Strauch brings over 30 years of professional experience and is leading Score Soccer Academy with elite programs for Toronto youth and teens. Geoff has coached with various academies and clubs in England, Wales, New Zealand, USA & Canada. He holds certifications for English F.A. Preliminary Badge, U.E.F.A. A License, U.E.F.A. B Goalkeeper Coach License, Refereeing and others. Geoff has worked with top level academies and clubs such as Chester City (EPL) School of Excellence, Tranmere Rovers (EPL) School of Excellence, Rhyl F.C. Youth Academy (Welsh Premier League), North Wales International Team and was the Placement Officer for Welsh F.A. Academy. Score is located in Scarborough (the east end of Toronto) and is competing this year in the SAAC competitions with teams in the U8, U10, U12 and U14 divisions. Other programs for the academy are run for 6 to 17 year olds.
Tyler Smith has been involved in Soccer all his life, his Uncle was a professional Soccer player in England and so Tyler has had a passion for the game ever since watching his Uncle lift the F.A. cup with Coventry City. At 11 years old Tyler was part of the Leicester City School of Excellence and later went on to West Bromwich Albion. he has coached in England, Switzerland, the U.S. & Canada. He currently holds his F.A. level 1 & 2 coaching badges and his NSCAA National Diploma. He is set to take his Advanced National Diploma this Summer in the U.S.
Dany Graham is the new head coach for the very successful Under 8 Academy team. His Passion for soccer and working with children is something that really stands him out from most coaches. Always looking to advance his knowledge and strive to become a better coach. he currently holds the following certifications... OSA Level III (Child, Youth & Senior Certificates), National Diploma, CAC Certified Standard First Aid and Basic Rescuer Level (C) and he has already booked himself into his Advanced National Diploma in Florida next January. Dany keeps himself heavily involved in Soccer even away from Score Academy and is currently an active part in the development of soccer in the Cobourg Soccer League.
